Six early issues of this literary periodical, edited by John Lehmann, including Volume 1 No.1. Four of the issues include poems by Thom Gunn, namely 'Earthborn', 'Palinode', 'Hungry', 'Ralph's Dream', 'The Paraplegic Lying on His Back', and 'A District in Rome'. Two of the issues includes Thom Gunn's reviews of William Empson's 'Collected Poems' and Wallace Stevens' 'Collected Poems' respectively. The six issues also include contributions by T.S. Eliot, Louis MacNeice, Geoffrey Hill, George Barker, Tennessee Williams, J.B. Priestley, E.M. Forster and many others.

All issues are in Good to Very Good condition with the word 'File' on the front cover written in blue ink near the top edge (as illustrated).
