A catalogue containing twenty-four manuscripts and eighty printed books, nearly all from the library of Sir Thomas Phillipps (1792-1872). Privately published in ivory white paper covered boards illustrated on the front board with a miniature from the 'Armagnac' manuscript of the trials of Joan of Arc. Blue endpapers with maps of the world showing Magellan's route on the first circumnavigation of the Earth. Folio. pp. [2], viii, 192, fully illustrated including colour illustrations.

Condition

A book in Very Good condition with some darkening of the boards and slight damage to lower points. With superb illustrations including one fold-out colour page.
