First Edition thus. Original publisher's blue cloth, with gilt lettering, decorations and top of page block, and pictorial endpapers. Quarto. pp. 232. Twenty-two black and white line drawings throughout the text and twelve full page colour plates. Clear, removable, archival protective glassine fitted cover. A very neat gift inscription "Presented by the Parr Society for the Cultural Advancement of Stuycks" on the half-title page, otherwise clean and bright with no foxing. Minor edge wear, spine not faded.
