Copy number '113' of an edition limited to 170 signed copies. The text was machine-set in Giovanni Mardersteig's 14D Dante and printed on a carta a mano from Cartiera Amatruda, Amalfi using a Western proof press. The titles are set in 24pt and 60pt Castellar. Carlo Rapp's images for seven of the villas featured in the book, are printed from line blocks and his lino-cuts. The calligraphic device is by Celia Lister. The three-pulp cover paper was hand-made by Cave Paper, Minneapolis. The binding was executed by Ludlow Bookbinders Ltd. Quarter dark grey cloth over paper covered boards, printed label to the spine. Folio, 360 x 260 mm, pp. [112]. Housed in a matching cloth covered sleeve with a printed label to the spine. TOGETHER WITH a copy of the 'Announcement' of the book.
