Description
First Folio Society Edition with an introduction by Juliet McMaster. Publisher's cream paper covered boards with green quarter cloth and gilt titles in black labels to spine. Green slip case. First published in serial form in the Cornhill Magazine between August 1861 and March 1862. The first book edition appeared in New York in one volume in Harpers Library of Select Novels in 1862. Smith, Elder published the first British edition in one volume in 1870. A book in Fine condition in a Fine slipcase.
