Clear, removable, archival cover fitted to the dust-jacket. Octavo. [a]8 A8-Y8 Z4 pp. [xvi], 360. Frontispiece tissue-guarded sepia photograph of Sir Stanley Maude by Maull & Fox. Six photograph illustrations and seven pages of maps. Maude served in South Africa, on the Western Front (3rd Corps Staff), in The Dardenelles (Officer Commanding 13th Division), and in Mesopotamia, where he commanded the army capturing Baghdad. Two publisher's cards laid in, inviting customers to specify their interests.
Condition
A book in Very Good condition indeed with offsetting to ffep and with a Very Good printed dust-jacket with some dust soiling, and creasing and small losses to rear panel. Very scarce with a dust-jacket.
