Clear, removable, archival protective cover fitted to the book. Quarto. pp. [blank] [i-ix] x-xiii [xiv], 392 [blank] with tissue-guarded frontispiece portrait photograph of Lt. Col. J.J. Richardson, D.S.O., 10 coloured plates, 84 half-tone plates and 10 illustrations in the text including maps and plans.
Condition
A book in Very Good condition with a hand written inscription (partly obliterated) on the verso of the front free endpaper and discolouration of the top and bottom edges of the boards, but without foxing or spotting.
