Copy number '23 ' of an edition limited to just 79 numbered copies. Text hand-set in Mopnotype Van Dijk 13pt for the main text and 12pt for the footnotes, and printed on an antique Rives BFK laid paper. Quarter faux vellum over dark blue cloth with the title debossed in silver on the front board, blue endpapers, the book resting in a cloth-covered board chemise, with a paper label to its spine, at the back of which is a pocket containing five engravings printed on 250 gsm Rives BFK paper and interleaving sheets. The history of these engravings is noted below. Royal folio (as the original), 490 x 310 mm, pp. 64, plus a four-page Corrigenda laid in, plus an A4 booklet showing all twelve plates, digitally printed. A book, chemise, engravings and booklet, all in Fine condition.
