Description

Copy number '28' of an edition limited to 30 copies. Text hand-set in Caslon Old Face and printed on a hand-made paper by Cartiera Amatruda, Amalfi, Itlay. This text was printed by Oxford printer Henry Hall in 1659 alongside the Arabic original of Da'ud ibn 'Umar al-Antaki. The translation was probably by Edward Pococke. It is possible that only one copy survives, namely that in the Bodleian Library, Oxford - here reprinted. 500 x 360 mm.
