A prospectus for 'In Praise of Patterned Papers' a collection of essays by Paul Nash, Phyllis Barron, Enid Marx, Alan Powers, Sebastian Carter, Victoria Hall and Graham Moss with an Introduction by Tanya Schmoller. A single sheet folded once to form the prospectus, 10½" x 7¾", and then folded again for postage. Printed on all four sides with a sample tipped-in of the paper used for the book's wrappers, designed by Eric Ravilious for Curwen Press in 1935. The book was to be published in three editions, Edition A being 300 standard copies in a slipcase, Edition B being 50 standard copies with a folder containing six full sheets of patterned paper, and Edition C being 10 copies in a solander box with 12 full sheets in a folder, designed and made by Stephen Conway.
