Description
One of fifty two copies signed by B. Johnston from a facsimile edition of 300 of each of the two books, housed in a cream card slipcase. Second Edition of the Diary and Third English Edition of the Essay. The Diary and Essay were originally published at the Corvinus Press in 1937 in editions of 203 and 30 numbered copies respectively. Publisher's cream card covers with brown lettering to each of the front covers, the 'Essay' stapled and containing additional material. The Diary and the Essay are both quarto and unpaginated. The Diary was reprinted, by Hobbs the Printers of Southampton, a page size smaller than the original to match the Essay.

Both volumes and the slipcase are in Fine condition.
