Copy Number 'VIII' of 50 copies numbered I-L, half-bound in terracotta Oasis leather with marbled paper-covered sides, TOGETHER with an extra portfolio containing a selection of twenty-one original prospectuses. Set in 13 point Poliphilus and printed at Whittington on Zerkall mould-made paper. Quarto, pp. xii, 147 [blank] [limitation page] [3 blank], 28 illustrations, many being tipped-in, many in red and black. Three facsimile prospectuses in a pocket on the back board, being Kelmscott Press, 'The Story of King Florus and the Fair Jehane', The Doves Press, 'Prospice', and The Nonesuch Press, 'Herodotus'.
Condition
A book and portfolio in Fine condition, all in a Fine matching slipcase. The original prospectuses within the portfolio are generally in Very Good or better condition.
