A complete set of the standard issues of 'Parenthesis', the Journal of the Fine Press Book Association, together with the 'Index to Parenthesis 1-49'. Each issue is in at least Very Good condition and in its own clear, archival quality, protective sleeve. 'Parenthesis' has been issued twice-yearly and has been edited and produced alternately in the United Kingdom and North America. The issues cover all aspects of fine printing including, printing, collecting, writing, type design, binding, calligraphy, paper-making and bibliography, presented by the best of those working in and across these fields. There are articles on individual Presses, history and methods in printing, reviews of books, and much more. Each issue is in quarto format with illustrated stiff paper covers with flaps, at least 64 pages (3,022 pages altogether!) and illustrations throughout. The Index is 120 pages with an Introduction by Sebastian Carter.

All issues in at least Very Good condition.
