Copy number '235' of an edition limited to 275 copies, of which only 225 were for sale. Printed in red and black on mould-made paper with inset leaves on blue paper. The principal contents are: a full display of all Type Faces, Initial Letters, Borders and Ornaments acquired by the Press since the issue of its Type Specimen Book in 1928; Harold Curwen's new Sans-serif type, with an article by Harry Carter; an article by Paul Nash on the Stencil Process, illustrated with many reproductions of original drawings by McKnight Kauffer, Edward Bawden and Barnett Freedman; an article by Harold Curwen on printing wood-engravings on letterpress machines, illustrated with examples by John Nash, Eric Gill and Rene Ben Sussan; a display of specially designed music punches; a Catalogue Raisonne of Books printed at the Curwen Press from 1929 to 1930 inclusive. Publisher's printed cloth binding.
